The power of volunteering is endless. Young people gain life-changing networks of support, volunteers inspire and are inspired, and businesses transform their workplace cultures.
To mark Volunteers Week (1-7 June), we’re celebrating the power of volunteering and saying thank you to our supporters with a range of events, workshops, and new resources throughout the week.

Mentoring young people has given me the opportunity to reflect on my own leadership style. You develop an awareness of how you come across, and how it’s necessary to alter your approach depending on the circumstances.
If we can encourage a millimetre of a shift in attitude in our students and their aspirations, it can grow exponentially into opportunities they never dreamed of.
Beverley Webster OBE,
I ran to support Career Ready because I have seen first hand the incredible transformational work they do. Giving young people the right opportunities is so very critical to breaking down persistent barriers in our society.
Fundraising is a great way to make a lasting difference as a volunteer. Whether you’re doing it with friends, family, colleagues, or going solo, getting involved has never been easier.
