About our Alumni Network

Our Alumni Network is there to support you with whatever you choose to do next, whether you’re going to university, starting an apprenticeship, or entering the world of work.

When you graduate from the Career Ready programme, you will join a growing UK-wide network of over 2,000 fellow alumni, employers, and volunteers who will help you in taking your talent to the next level.

As a volunteer you can make a transformational difference to a young person’s future. Using your experience, skills, and knowledge, you can give them the support they need to achieve their true potential.

Volunteering is also a fantastic way to develop your own professional skillset, enjoy a rewarding experience, and enhance your CV.

Funding now available

We are very excited to announce the launch of our new Alumni Opportunity Fund.

This is kindly supported by employer partners of Career Ready and has been created to enable you to access funds which will support your professional development.

We understand that professional development and securing long-term employment can come at a cost and we aim to help you with that. For example, you can apply for an Opportunity Award to cover travel and accommodation for interviews and work placements, interview outfits, and IT equipment.

Any alumni aged 17-25, from any region, can apply for an Opportunity Award up to £300 during the published application windows. All we need from you is an application and our Alumni Manager and Youth Advisory Board will review applications and make awards on a regular basis.

Find out more and apply on the Alumni Hub below – please check your latest bulletin for the password or contact alumni@careerready.org.uk.
