Career Ready is pleased to announce three new appointments to its Board of Trustees, effective from July 2022.
Following a rigorous selection process, Richard Sanders, Co-head of Technology at Permira, Shen Chen, Director of Corporate and Investment Banking at the Bank of America Securities, and Shilpen Savani, partner at gunnercooke LLP, will join the Board of Trustees to oversee the strategic direction and operations of Career Ready.
The appointments come at an exciting time for Career Ready, as it enters the 2nd year of its 2021-24 strategy and looks to grow its work and impact across the UK.

And we look forward to working together as a Board of Trustees to help the charity fulfil its growth ambitions.”
Career Ready is a UK-wide social mobility charity that links schools and colleges with employers to help prepare young people for the world of work. Career Ready was founded in 2002 and currently works across the UK to support young people from less advantaged backgrounds.
Career Ready currently supports over 1,200 young people through a targeted programme of paid internships, mentoring, workplace visits, and skills masterclasses for young people aged 15-18 across England, Scotland, Wales, Scotland Northern Ireland.
