Nuradiin, a student at Arc St Alban’s Academy in the West Midlands, had a mentor and paid internship with Turner & Townsend. He shares his experience.

This programme is an amazing programme. I believe that it grants you so much opportunities. And in my opinion, this internsihp has been amazing.
I’ve learned a lot of skills, a lot of transferable skills, soft skills, practical skills, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, the soft skills include stuff like building my public speaking, confidence.
I’ve met a lot of new people, in a different environment compared to the usual environment for me, which is school. I’ve met people in different roles, have had different life trajectories, different career pathways.
And yeah, I think this internship has been really beneficial and has helped me grow as a person.”
