Video transcript:
All of us in the internship we were all nervous going in. But as soon as I start speaking to people like, my confidence just boosted.
I’m taking away lots of work experience so I’ll actually know what goes on in a workplace.
I’m taking away a lot of skills. So like confidence, team building, a lot of leadership skills, speaking skills as well, so like standing up doing presentations.
I’ve enjoyed making friends with people because I was really nervous and thinking I wouldn’t be able to make any friends.
And I think the project was actually really fun to do, like coming up with all the ideas.
Our group, we had to do a family sports day, working on all the equipment and working on the PowerPoint.
That was really fun.
Me and my mentor, we get along quite well. it’s easy to talk to someone like if you’re struggling about something.
Like, I was asking her about advice on exams and stuff like that.
So it’s kind of just good to have someone to talk to.
