Career Ready and Savills have been working in collaboration since 2020 to invest in young talent across the UK. Together, we’ve helped young people develop vital skills, grow in confidence, and discover more about the property sector.

We work with Savills to create school partnerships and connect their local offices and team members with young people in Birmingham, Cardiff, Essex, Glasgow, Kent, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, and Suffolk.

Our local partnerships include mentoring, masterclass presenters, workplace visits, and Local Advisory Board members. In the last year, the Savills team have supported 37 students with one-to-one mentoring, hosted eight paid interns, and delivered four skills masterclasses, including as part of our Industry Insights programme. Savills have also supported 15 London schools with a CPD session on careers advice for young people.

Our Impact

Raising sector awareness 

Our collaboration has helped transform the skills and confidence of young people, ensuring that they are able to kickstart their futures and thrive in education and employment.

And by opening their doors to young people, Savills have helped to boost awareness of the real estate sector and the great careers it has to offer, growing the pipeline of young talent interested in the sector.

With our collaboration, Savills have also been able to provide rewarding volunteering opportunities for their team, helping to boost staff wellbeing by making a difference in their local community.

Being in an environment where employees are so passionate about their job has inspired me and confirmed my desire to pursue a career in residential property. I’m proud to have been a part of Savills this week and I’m excited for the apprenticeship applications to open.
