Lewis, Chloe, Corey, Tami, Amelie and Asiyah completed their Career Ready internships at Business Stream in Edinburgh in 2025. They share their experience, and what they learnt.

Asiyah: If I could describe Career Ready in one word, it would be “supportive”.
Amelie: I think “friendly”.
Chloe: “Fun”.
Tami: One word to describe Career Ready would be “exciting”.
Lewis: I’d probably say “eventful”. We’ve done so much, and learning new things, meeting new people, and it’s something I’ll never forget. So I’d say yeah, eventful.
Tami: I’d say my favourite session was the proposition one, because you got to pitch ideas about a new product and brainstorm.
Cory: The final presentation, because I had some freedom to do what I wanted to do and it came together really well.
Lewis: I’d definitely say the Canva session, having Fiona and Claire to take photos, I think it was a very funny session, and seeing everyone fail horribly trying to make a good logo.
Asiyah: My favourite session by far has been an introduction into finance with Jen. It’s been very interesting.
Tami: A piece of advice I would give to a next Career Ready student would be to take every opportunity you get, and be confident.
Amelie: I would say just be confident because like everyone’s at the same place that you are.
Asiyah: And don’t be afraid to ask questions.
