Career Ready is delighted to announce the launch of a new Alumni Opportunity Fund to provide financial support to our former students.
This new Alumni Opportunity Fund, made possible by the investment of our employer partners, will enable former students across the UK, aged 17-25, to cover the cost of the necessary items and expenses they need to support their professional development.
“Young people are facing immense pressures due to the cost-of-living crisis and we can’t let this prevent them from achieving their potential. We hope that our new funding will give them the support they need to continue thriving in education and work.”

Funding is available up to £300 to cover the cost of items such as such as travel and accommodation for interviews and work placements, interview outfits, and IT equipment. Applications can be made during the following windows:
- 12-25 June 2023
- 10-23 July 2023
- 7-20 August 2023
- 4-17 September 2023
- 2-15 October 2023
- 30 October-12 November 2023
