Thank you for taking the time to consider volunteering with Career Ready. You are just a few short steps away from helping us to transform the lives of young people.
We're currently no longer accepting mentoring applications in London & SE, but you can still apply to become a masterclass presenter.
Our registration form
- Register with us by submitting your contact details, then continue with steps 2 and 3 of your application. Please note, if you have volunteered with Career Ready before, simply click the 'LOG IN' button in the top right-hand corner.
- If you are a new volunteer, we need to know a little more about you, some information about your experience and what kind of volunteering role you are looking for.
- Finally, we need to know where you are based and where you work so that we can hopefully match you with a school/college local to you. If you already hold a DBS certificate, we will collect proof of this at this stage. If not, then you will be directed to GBG to apply for one.
We offer a range of flexible volunteering roles, including Year 10 and Year 12 mentoring and masterclass delivery, which transform young lives.
We are still recruiting volunteers for Year 10 group mentoring and to present masterclasses either at a school/college or hosted at your workplace. Please note, Year 10 mentoring is only available in the Black Country, Essex, Ipswich, London, Stoke and Southend.
In order to work one-to-one with children (under 18s) you need to be cleared by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which checks your police records. Therefore, a number of our volunteering roles requires this clearance. If you do not have a DBS certificate, we will automatically direct you to GBG to apply for one.
