Awards

At Career Ready we are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students, volunteers, employer supporters and schools. Every year we offer a number of awards that recognise individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to our programme.

For 2019, we will be presenting regional and national awards across six categories including a regional award for students in Scotland kindly supported by Standard Life Aberdeen.

Nominations - please note that only certain people are eligible to nominate for each award, but all nominations in Scotland must be submitted by no later than Wednesday 19 December 2018.

Scottish award winners will be announced at our graduation in March, followed by national winners being announced at our UK awards celebration ceremony in London in April 2019.

Our 2019 awards

Leidos Career Ready Student of the Year

The Leidos Career Ready Student of the Year Award recognises the students who have made the most progress during their Career Ready experience. This does not necessarily mean the best students, or those with the highest academic results, but those who have come furthest on their Career Ready journey.

In addition, through the kindness of Standard Life Aberdeen plc, a winner from each area in Scotland will receive a prize in recognition of their area award. The prize and a framed certificate will be presented when we celebrate students’ achievements, progress and success at their graduation ceremony in March.

Accepting nominations from: school coordinators with a supporting statement from their student's mentor.
