Nominations are now open for submission for our annual Career Ready awards. Our 2020 awards seek to recognise the students, their schools and colleges, our volunteers and employers who demonstrate outstanding commitment to our programmes across the 2018/19 academic year, UK-wide.
Nominations for all awards close on Friday 17January 2020 ahead of our regional judging and our celebration dinner in London at the end of March 2020.
Student of the Year
The Career Ready Student of the Year Award supported by Leidos, recognises the students who have made the most progress during their Career Ready experience. That does not necessarily mean the best students or those with the highest academic results, but those who have come furthest on their Career Ready journey.
STEM Student of the Year
Our STEM Student of the Year Award supported by AstraZeneca, recognises the students who have made the most progress towards a career in a STEM industry during and as a result of their Career Ready programme. We are looking for students who can inspire other to consider STEM careers with their stories.
Logistics Student of the Year
Our Logistics Student of the Year Awar supported by PD Ports recognises the students who have made the most progress towards a career in the logistics profession during and thanks to the Career Ready programme. We are looking for students who can inspire others to consider logistics careers with their stories.
Mentor of the Year
Our Mentor of the Year Award supported by Standard Life Aberdeen recognises the mentors in England, Wales and Northern Ireland who have gone above and beyond the requirements of the role to support their students throughout the Career Ready journey. We know a mentoring relationship can be one of the most transformational elements of the programme and this award is our students' chance to say thank you.
Centre of the Year
A new award for 2020, our Centre of the Year Award supported by Aviva recognises a school or college, its staff and the Career Ready Coordinator that have excelled in the running of a Career Ready programme or activities, going above and beyond to act as ambassadors for employer engagement, good careers guidance and student success.
